Sustainability Policy

Last updated: 22/01/2025

The ACE Group is committed to promoting sustainability. Concern for the environment and advancing a broader sustainability agenda are integral to our professional activities and the management of the organisation.

We aim to follow, and to promote, good sustainability practice, to reduce the environmental impacts of all our activities, and to help our clients and partners to do the same.

Objectives

Our Sustainability Policy is based upon the following principles:

  • To integrate sustainability considerations into all of our business decisions.

  • To ensure everyone working with The ACE Group is connected to our Sustainability Policy and actively supports its implementation and improvement.

  • To minimise the environmental impact of all transportation activities.

  • To make clients and suppliers aware of our Sustainability Policy and encourage them to adopt sound sustainable management practices.

  • To review and continually strive to improve our sustainability performance.

Requirements

Clients:

Our organisation must have the right systems and processes in place to nurture relationships with clients and provide reassurance that we will deliver sustainable development opportunities throughout our delivery.

Customer satisfaction is the key measure of our success in this area, and all operations and client relationship management should be undertaken with sustainability in mind.

Operational efficiency:

We strive to provide sustainable value on every contract and encourage our supply chain partners to support us in achieving our clients’ sustainable objectives.

  • Fuel consumption will be kept to a minimum through improved vehicle selection, including electric vehicle usage and train travel whenever possible.

  • We aim to reduce energy use, waste and environmental impact across all our operations.

People:

  • Contributions should be made to the communities in which we work, for example each year, we donate a portion of our profits to charitable causes, supporting initiatives that benefit our communities and stakeholders. Volunteering and pro bono work is undertaken by our partners.

  • We must ensure we have the right talent pipeline to meet the future needs of our business and prioritise the wellbeing of our colleagues, and by extension our clients.

  • We are committed to diversity, fairness, and equality across all recruitment and working practices. For further information, see: ACE Diversity & Inclusion Policy
