Bribery and Corruption Policy and Compliance Statement 

 

This document relates to Accelerating Commercial Excellence (The ACE Group)


Accelerating Commercial Excellence (The ACE Group) is committed to conducting business in an ethical and honest manner, and is committed to implementing and enforcing systems that ensure bribery is prevented. Accelerating Commercial Excellence (The ACE Group) has a zero-tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships, wherever in the country we operate. 

 

Accelerating Commercial Excellence (The ACE Group) will constantly uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate. We are bound by the laws of the UK, including the Bribery Act 2010, in regards to our conduct both at home and abroad. 

 

Accelerating Commercial Excellence (The ACE Group) recognises that bribery and corruption are punishable by up to ten years imprisonment and a fine. If our company is discovered to have taken part in corrupt activities, we may be subjected to an unlimited fine, be excluded from tendering for public contracts, and face serious damage to our reputation. It is with this in mind that we commit to preventing bribery and corruption in our business, and take our legal responsibilities seriously.

Gifts and Hospitality 

​

Gifts and hospitality can form part of normal business relationships with Business Partners, provided that it is proportionate, appropriate and has a genuine business purpose.   

However, it must never affect or appear to affect impartial decision making or conduct of ACE representatives or other parties who work for or with ACE.   

In order to avoid potential conflicts of interest ACE will only provide hospitality where both parties are in attendance.

Free Samples 

​

ACE do not give our gifts to our clients and/or partners, with exceptions stationary at training workshops.

Business Payments 

“Business payments” are transactions that often take the form of cash payments to clients or officials to “smooth the path” of a transaction, or expedite a routine.   

ACE representatives must never make, offer, solicit or encourage facilitation payments under any circumstances.

Tax Evasion 

​

Tax evasion and the facilitation of tax evasion in all forms is a criminal offence.  ACE will not tolerate behaviour that facilitates ACE partners or representatives in evading their tax obligations, or conceal or turn a blind eye to tax evasion.

ACE is committed to reporting any such activity of which it becomes aware.

Record Keeping 

​

We expect our ACE representatives and clients to have processes in place to ensure that this Policy is complied with at all times when dealing with or acting on behalf of ACE.   

​

ACE also has processes in place to protect clients/associates who provide information on unfair or inappropriate business dealings. 

​

ACE keeps financial records and has appropriate internal controls in place evidencing the business reason for giving and/or receiving payments from/to third parties.
